Dr. Peyman Givi is Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering and the James T. MacLeod Professor in Swanson School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Previously he held the rank of University Distinguished Professor in Aerospace Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he received the Professor of the Year Award by Tau Beta Pi (2002). He also worked as a Research Scientist at the Flow Industries, Inc. in Seattle. Dr. Givi has had frequent visiting appointments at the NASA Langley & Glenn (Lewis) centers, and received the NASA's Public Service Medal (2005). He is amongst the first 15 engineering faculty nationwide who received the White House Presidential Faculty Fellowship from President George Bush. He also received the Young Investigator Award of the Office of Naval Research, and the Presidential Young Investigator Award of the National Science Foundation. Dr. Givi is the Deputy Editor of AIAA Journal, member of the editorial boards of Computers & Fluids, Journal of Applied Fluid Mechanics; the Open Aerospace Engineering Journal, an Associate Editor of Journal of Combustion; and a past advisory board member of Progress in Energy and Combustion Science. He received his Ph.D. from the Carnegie Mellon University (PA), and BE (Summa Cum Laude) from the Youngstown State University (OH), where he was named the 2004 Phi Kappa Phi Distinguished Alumnus, and the 2012 STEM College Outstanding Alumnus. Dr. Givi has achieved Fellow status in AAAS, AIAA, APS, and ASME; and was designated as ASME's Engineer of the Year 2007 in Pittsburgh.

Prior to joining the faculty at Washington University in 2001, Professor Agarwal was the Chair of the Aerospace Engineering Department at Wichita State University from 1994 to 1996 and the Executive Director of National Institute for Aviation Research from 1996 to 2001. From 1994 to 2001, he was also the Bloomfield Distinguished Professor at Wichita State University. From 1978 to 1994, Professor Agarwal worked in various scientific and managerial positions at McDonnell Douglas Research Laboratories in St. Louis. He became the Program Director and McDonnell Douglas Fellow in 1990. From 1976 to 1978, Professor Agarwal worked as a NRC Research Associate at NASA Ames Research Center and as a Principal Research Engineer at Rao and Associates in Palo Alto, California from 1975 to 1976. Over a period of 45 years, Professor Agarwal has worked in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) and Electromagnetics, Computational Aeroacoustics, Multidisciplinary Design and Optimization, Rarefied Gas Dynamics and Hypersonic Flows, Bio-Fluid Dynamics, and Flow and Flight Control. More recently, he has devoted some of his efforts in nanotechnology and renewable energy systems - in particular wind, solar and biomass. He is the author and coauthor of over 600 publications and serves on the editorial board of more than 20 journals. He has given many plenary, keynote and invited lectures at various national and international conferences in over 60 countries worldwide. Professor Agarwal continues to serve on many professional, government, and industrial advisory committees. Professor Raman Singh’s primary research interests are in the relationship of Nano-/microstructure and Environment-assisted degradation and fracture of metallic and composite materials, and Nanotechnology for Advanced Mitigation of such Degradations. He has also worked extensively on use of advanced materials (e.g., graphene) for corrosion mitigation, and stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion and corrosion-mitigation of magnesium alloys (including for the use of magnesium alloys for aerospace, defence and bioimplant applications). Prof Singh’s professional distinctions and recognitions include: Guest Professorships at ETH Zurich (2020, 2023, 2024), editor of a unique book on non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of corrosion, editor of a book on cracking of welds, editor-in-chief of an Elsevier journal and two MDPI journals, member the Editorial Boards of a few journals, leader/chairperson of a few international conferences and over 60 plenary/keynote lectures at international conferences, over 265 peer-reviewed international journal publications, 15 book chapters/books and over 100 reviewed conference publications, and several competitive research grants (that include 4 Discovery, 7 Linkage and one ITRH grants of Australian Research Council). Prof. YASSER M. MADANY (MIEEE’01–SMIEEE’12) is an Associate Professor (Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering | ECE) at faculty of computers and artificial intelligence, ALRyada University for Science and Technology, Egypt. Dr. Madany received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), specialization in Antennas and Wave Propagation from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in 1994, 2002 and 2005, respectively. Professor Ekaterinaris obtained his B.Sc. in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 1977. He received his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 1983, and his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 1987, both at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Professor Ekaterinaris has worked at NASA-Ames Research Center, Moffett Field CA — through the Navy/NASA joint Institute of Aeronautics — since 1987, and at the same time was faculty at the Naval Postgraduate School at Monterey. He spent more than a year (1995-1997) at RISOE, Denmark's national laboratory (wind energy department), and then worked at Nielsen Engineering and Research (1997-2000). He returned to Greece, and he became professor at the school of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of the University of Patras. His interests are methodology development in computational mechanics, including aerodynamics, magnetogasdynamics, flow transition, turbulence research, flow structure interaction in aeronautics and biomechanics and multi-scale phenomena. He has been member of AIAA (where he served as a member of technical committees), and an AIAA associate fellow since 1995. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal Aerospace Science and Technology, and associate editor of the Journal Progress in Aerospace Science.

Fatma Newagy is a Professor of Communications Engineering in Ain Shams University. Dr. Newagy is a member of Communications and Information Technology ICT National committee – Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT). She is a member of Space Research and Remote Sensing Scientific Council, Specialized Scientific Councils – ASRT. She is the supervisor of Space Technology Lab in ASU – funded by Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA). She participated in different ASRT activities as "Future Jobs in Egypt", Updating the "National strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation STI-EGY 2030" and Suggestions for "Sustainable Development Strategy – Egypt 2030". She judged Mega Projects and Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2019). She is a Steering Committee member in MIT – ASU Center of Excellence – Energy founded by USAID (2018 – 2021). She is also a member of Arab Foundation of Young Scientists. Dr. Newagy is an editorial board member in many international journals as Ain Shams Engineering Journal (ASEJ), Elsevier. Prof. Feng Lu degrees are in Aerospace propulsion theory and engineering from NUAA (Ph.D., 2009; China). Prof. Najoua Turki-Kamoun is a full Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (FST) University of Tunis El Manar Tunisia. She obtained her PhD thesis in 1992 from FST and the Habilitation (HDR) in Physics in Tunisia (FST) in 2000 and she is a Professor since 2007. Her academic research focuses on Transparent conductive oxides (TCO : ZnO, SnO2, In2O3, TiO2, MoO3, Fe2O3 and Fe3O4), binary semiconductors (In2S3, SnS, CdS, Cu2S, ZnS, PbS and MgS), ternary (CuInS2, In(2-x)GaxS2, P3HT and P3OT) and quaternary compounds (CuIn(1-x)GaxS2 :CIGS and Cu2ZnSnS4 :CZTS) for opto-electronic applications such as photocatalysis, gaz sensors, solar cells, UV and IR detectors. Nanomaterials and thin films are grown by different low cost techniques (spray pyrolysis, chemical bath deposition (CBD), spin coating, electrodeposition and sputtering). She pulished about 100 papers in International Journals with impact factor and supervised more than 20 PhD thesis. Since 1989 she is a researcher in Physics Condensed Matter Laboratory (LPMC) where she was a head (2011-2015). In the period 2013-2014 she occupied the post of General Director of Physico-Chemical Analysis Institute (INRAP) in the Technopole of Sidi Thabet.

Prof. Dr. Fateh MEBAREK OUDINA, received Ph. D. in 2010. He has worked as staff and process engineer at SONATRACH, Algeria. His main research interests are CFD, MHD, rotating flows, hydrodynamic stability…He has published many papers in international refereed journals and proceeding. Now he work at Skikda university, Algeria. Areas of Current Research: - Nanofluids; - Combustion; - Clean energy; - MHD stability.

Dr. Tshireletso Madumo is a scientist at Ekurhuleni Water Care Company chemical laboratory in South Africa with 10 years’ experience where she performs accredited testing services on wastewater matrices, to ensure consistent excellence in water care for Green Drop status compliance. Tshireletso holds a National Diploma in Analytical chemistry, Bachelor of Technology degree in chemistry from Tshwane University of Technology and a Master’s Degree Chemical Engineering from the University of South Africa. Tshireletso published a paper named “Development of nitrogen doped graphene/MOF nanocomposites towards adsorptive removal of Cr (VI) from the wastewater of the Herbert Bickley treatment works” in Febuary 2023.

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years. He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries. Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019, and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches over 180 Virtual/Webinar Conferences, in the coronavirus outbreak in four year of his retirement, 2020 and 2023. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M. Sc theses. He is also technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.
